Cycling and mountain biking in the Dolomites
Saddle up for a real treat
Cyclists, mountain bikers and E-bike enthusiasts will find their holiday Eldorado in the Dolomites, with a wealth of lonely forest trails and hidden paths to idyllic pastures, wide valleys or mountain passes. The pleasant cycle paths criss-crossing the Hochpustertal valley are especially loved by families and recreational cyclists. Hotel Stauder offers you a privileged position for your bike tours, with a variety of itineraries starting off from Toblach and leading… wherever you like!
Toblach and the surrounding area also play hosts to renowned events, such as the Dolomiti Superbike race in July – probably the best-known MTB marathon in the Alps. Another attraction is the Stoneman trail, which offers a truly special cycling experience with some challenging routes leading through the Hochpustertal valley. The itinerary, signposted with cairns, can be completed in one, two or three stages and is one of the toughest challenges bikers can measure themselves against in the Dolomites.
